( 8.20.2002 : 12:21 AM ) I rented "Empire of the Sun" last week finally! Who knew it would be in the action section? Anyway, I really enjoyed it and will have to rent it again sometime. I don't have any other news, but I remembered that I never mentioned that here. I will try to rent another Bale movie I haven't seen yet (bad!) next time I'm at the video store. I'm thinking "Velvet Goldmine". There are still so many to see ah! Ohhh yes, I got an e-mail on my mailing list that "Equilibrium" will come out December 6th of this year! I don't know if that's still tentative or if its for sure, but wouldn't that be exciting? I hope it comes out in theatres everywhere as well (as opposed to just indie theatres). Well now that's it. Have a bale-ful day. Haha. -

( 8.10.2002 : 12:10 AM ) I haven't been updating much, I only will when something particularly Bale-ful happens I think. Well here are the promised scans from "Total Movie" magazine: Picture & Article. I saw "Cinefantastique" at a bookstore, and despite it's "Reign of Fire" cover, I didn't buy it. I flipped through it, and it was very cheap looking, not worth it. The pictures weren't anything special.

I watched "Shaft" tonight. It was really funny, because I was looking for something to do and I randomly thought "I wonder if there's a Christian Bale movie on tonight" and then there was! It was a pretty good movie, though I thought the usage of the term "Mother-effer" was a bit overboard. I thought Christian did a really good job playing the "bad guy" once again. Plus his hair looked good, haha. I liked how his accent was a hybrid between the one he used in "American Psycho" and the one he used in "Newsies", or at least that's what I thought. -

( 8.3.2002 : 9:16 PM ) I'm still working on this site, there's lots I need to add. After I post this, I'm off to go work on the "Fun" section, I think. Anyway, I bought "Total Movie" at Blockbuster today, I'll scan in the article on Christian sometime soon. I read the article in "Stuff" on Thursday at Barnes & Noble, but Mom wouldn't let me buy the magazine once she saw the picture on the cover, haha. It was a good article, too bad. Kind of random for "Stuff" to feature Christian Bale, if you ask me. -
